The Busman is spoken for.
Purpleheart is pretty tough stuff, but it WOULD be better not to kick it about onstage…

That’s a beautiful whistle, and undoubtably a nice playing one having been made by Dr. Busman… Paul don’t make no junk! ![]()
At that price, surely someone will quickly snap it up… it would certainly make a nice Christmas present!
I’d buy it myself, but like you, I prefer whistles that I don’t have to treat so carefully… I keep hoping that Paul will offer polymer whistles at some point in his whistle making career! ![]()
P.S. I just checked Paul’s website, and purple heartwood isn’t pictured in the wood gallery… but I’m sure the grain of the wood is lovely.
David, check your pm
Yeah incredible whistles no doubt…just that it’s looking like I’m going to be on the road more and more and if I broke this thing I’d be pretty upset… so for now no wood whistles. And just to let you know how crazy I am about Overtons I traded some O’Riordans lows for some of the same and different reasons, one being that I need loud, strong toned whistles that will cut through a heavy mix.
