Cranberry, I’m sorry, but I no longer am allowed to mention anything that in part or in whole might resemble a S-N-A-K-E. We don’t even say the word around our house.
The picture may have an off tint, the flowers were white. The photo was the first I saw this year and it looked quite sad and trampled. Later I was able to see the yellow variety at the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary.
I haven’t seen wild ginger or trilliums in the wild yet this year, only at the park. Marsh marigolds, wood anemone, and strawberry flowers were out last weekend on the north shore.
