Does anyone have an opinion as to a definitive recording of this O’Carolan tune? Or better yet, a source of a printed version. I have the version done by the Chieftains with J. Galway, and have had access to a recording by a harper – I think maybe Joemy Wilson. You could tell it was the same tune, but with several differences. I like the tune – just kinda wondering how it really goes.
Ossian publishes a book, “The Complete Works of O’Carolan”. Very simple versions of the tunes. The “correct” way to play them is up to you, in proper Baroque fashion.
