I wonder if there was a photographer around when the piper was sitting on the German stormtroopers’ back while playing for Hitler?

The two young pipers in the photo are Eamon Gallbubh (left) and Joesph Carter.
The elderly lady between them is Mai Dowd, wife of piper Dan Dowd. Some one is holding a bronze plaque of him at the side of the photo.
The lady on the bottom right with the blue hat is Maura Meehan, wife of Tom Meehan. Tom worked with Matt Kiernan for years and supplied many pipers and pipemakers with fine stitched leather bags.
Their 2 sons, Fran and Seamus, are fine pipers too.
