This year the Pipers’ Gathering is expecting four new vendors to tempt you with the beauty of their instruments. You will be able to meet new makers, see, hear and test out new bellows pipes. Check our website for new vendor information - with more to come over the next couple of months.
OUR NEW VENUE - THE SNOWSHED LODGE
Several of the Board visited Killington recently to make plans for using our new space in the Snowshed Lodge and are very excited by what we found. This venue is going to provide us with far more space than we have ever had. Even during the times when all the instructors are giving classes or workshops there will be plenty of places for playing pipes without disturbing others. We will have more space available than we know what to do with for the first time. There are many areas that lend themselves to small or large sessions, and there will be no anxiety about disturbing hotel guests. These buildings are apart from the hotel, and we can play pipes all day and all night if we wish.
The Pipers’ Gathering, Inc., presenter of The Pipers’ Gathering, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Vermont. Our mission is to promote the music and playing of bagpipes in all their forms through workshops, education, social and cultural endeavors.
