That reminds me! Volume 1 just arrived in the mail yesterday as I was leaving for work. I get to check it out today! I suppose the release of Volume 2 means that Ian gets more of my cash again…
Aye, the first volume of this was great, especially Ronan Browne’s contribution - very insightful.
The other thing was that it was directed with pipers in mind; focusing on the piper and his hands throughout, instead of cutting to scenes of rural Ireland or a blazing log fire or a leprechaun or whatever.

I agree, I found Ronan’s remarks to be the most insightful (for me anyway), Tommy Keene had some good stuff to say as well. I too appreciated the focus on what the players were doing rather than montages.
Woohoo! Mine just arrived from NPU this morning, so have it playing in a corner of the screen while I am working … more detailed study and frustrated adulation to follow!
