Hello fellow pipers,
Yes its true, after over a year of recording my wife and I have finally finished our first CD. It is straight forward pipes and fiddle. No smoke or wall of sound.
As a laugh, there are two instruments that will bring any musician, in any genera, to their knees…first is a metronome and the second is a tape ( or digital) recorder. Still we think we have done a pretty good job and hope you like the results.

My copy of the CD was waiting for me when I arrived home after the Southern California Tionol. I put it on while we ate Monday evening. It was great to hear Pat & Cathy playing together - and so well too. Lovely tune selection, pace and over all feel.
The recording quality is excellent and the overall package is very pleasing to the eye.

I personally love the sound and sweet tone of the C chanter - and this CD was a treat to hear the piping all done in the key of C…Hey Pat, are you thinking of turning out any C chanters for sale in the near future?
If this had been issued in vinyl, I’d have to replace it already because I would have worn holes in it by now.
Pat and Cathy are playing these tunes right up out of the turf.
