any of those camp dealies in north georgia or maybe very southeastern tennessee this summer that anyone knows about?
1: For about 4 years, I’d say.
2: I don’t currently have a “rest” of my life. But I’m working on that…
I can tell you’re online a lot just from your messages here. You’re no threat to Loren or Beth, but at the rate you’re going you’ll pass me by Christmas. Another question if you’ll indulge me: Did you take the personality test that was floating around here a couple of weeks back?

I’m guessing you’d test introvert.
I think you’re where I and a couple of friends were a few years back. Your “life” online seems more ‘real’ to you than the rest. What should be worrisome about that is that so much of the ‘social’ side of the internet is a giant fantasy. The people you ‘meet’ there may or may not be what they want to be and thus project. Not necessarily boards like C&F - we tend to let our hair down and even show up in our jammies here. But certainly anything encountered on AOHell or MSN or iRC needs to be looked at closely before its swallowed - rather like a slice of pizza with ‘everything’.
Trouble is, all fantasies eventually fall apart. Too many of those projecting the images are doing it because they really don’t like who they are in ‘real’ life. That and there’s a ot of predators and they’re not only after children. Or worse, they’re so emotionally needy themselves that they can bleed you dry quicker’n any vampire.
How do you get out of it? Get interested in something else - whistles are a good choice, partly because to be any good you have to practice a lot and that restricts the time you have to spend online. If you’re really lucky, you’ll come down with a bad case of WhOA and decide to sacrifice your internet connection to finance a sterling silver Copeland.

Hey TelegramSam-Try Swannanoa-it’s in Asheville, North Carolina, a very good, well run camp. Don’t have their web page, but it shouldn’t be too hard to find.
