OT - Amar and the Daughters of Dale

No, it’s not the fourth sorrowful tale of Erin.

Dale, I think we all now know Amar’s opinion of/feelings toward the fabled Daughters of Dale, but what is the reverse position. Please get the Dutiful Ones to note down their opinion of/feelings toward the one and only (we hope) Amar of the Wistful Smile.

I demand this information under the terms of the new UK Freedom To Stir Up Trouble Act 2005.

yeah baby yeaaaaaahhhhhhh…

Does this act apply in the US, or did we throw it overboard with all that tea?

I detect a note of unrequited longing.

Hmmm… that’s an interesting way to descrivbe it… I would have thought some other “stful” adjective more fitting, … although less likely to be encouraging to Dale … well… nevermind…

“Amar the night visitor”. Now there’s a title to spook the Undisputed.

:astonished:

did you mean “as the night visitor?”

Dale is reading this thinking “thank god an ocean separates him and us.”

I actually thought it said WISHFUL at first :stuck_out_tongue:

I could just imagine the undisputed getting an NRA membership. :astonished:

please, more like as in Knight.

let me set one thing straight here. This here is all fun and good, I like joking around as i do, but, I am completely harmless and trustworthy.
so, just thought i should state that.

…Bwaa-haaaaaaaaaa-haaaaaaaaaa!!!

Ooooh mercy Swiss-doodsterino, that was a good one!

 but i really am serious!!

“Amar of the affected smile?”

Let’s remember that Amar is an MD which implies he has the ability to focus and concentrate. At least it implies he was able to do so during medical school. This means he is fully capable of taking matters seriously.

I don’t know where I’m going with this but I’m trying to put Amar in a decent light.

thanks F.C., that’s exactely what i am.

but, being an m.d. does not mean one can’t be a complete jerk. it needs to be said.

Well yes, he’s a thoroughly decent chap, that goes without saying, and welcome to pop into my place for a wee dram any time.

But of course I don’t have any eligible daughters to worry about!

Tell me about it!!! When I was a US Navy Hospital Corpsman I worked with more then a few real %%$%# MD’s. One guy was the archtypical genius. He was the best ophthalmologist I’d ever known yet he was an absolute unmitigated A**hole of a human being. Still, as much as I despised him I’d definitely go to him if I needed eye surgery.

On the other hand I worked with a Doc who was not only a fantastic internal med doc but one of the nicest people I have ever worked with. She had the attitude that if you wanted to learn, she’d be happy to teach. She never lost her cool. All the corpsman and nurses loved when she had the duty.
