Ordered me first pipes today...

…and hope to join the ranks of uilleann pipers as soon as I have paid me dues, learnt me crans, and so on.

The fine information posted on this board was of great help in finding out how to find a maker.

Many thanks.

Details man we need details! :boggle:

Sheesh!

G’donya mate. Who’s ya maker?

Cheers,

Sorry. Forgot about the insatiable appetite for specificity.

Mr. David Daye is making the set–a starter for starters, and then I’ll add some drones.

The fun part was, I got all the money in one day, at one gig.

I told the audience that I have to get a set and learn them, and it was up to them to buy enough CDs. So they did. So I can.

Hey, that’s awesome. Congratulations.

Man, Daye’s drones are so nice. You tune them up one day, pick the set up a couple days later, and it’s still in tune!
