Today’s lesson is look before you leap at least once every four years.

I’m really confused about why my cups of tea made with skimmed milk leave rings on the inside of the mug, but my colleague’s with 2 sugars and semi-skimmed, in all other ways identical, do not.

I am going to do some science.

I like that.

My favourite is:


“If there’s no lead in your pencil you won’t need a rubber.”

This has particularly interesting metaphorical connotations for us yanks.
