That’s one thing but I am always surprised stylistic considerations are never mentioned in this sort of threads. Will any old fluteplayer do, or do you want to be taught by someone who’s playing you really like?
I can highly recommend NicoMoreno as a pipes teacher, and I’m sure his flute playing is on the same level!
That’s a good point, and when talking to people in person I actually usually do stress that. I think that’s definitely an important consideration!
Also if you can, go for in person lessons… I teach plenty online, and in person is better if you can get that.
