Old Pipemaking tools

Many sets by the grand masters of old survive and are played or are in collections both private and public but what happened to the tools used to create them. Are there any surviving so we know for instnce what sort of drills and reamers were used

IIRC ,
the Mercer Museum in Doylestown PA 18901, has (some of) the Taylor’s tools.

yes, some problems with the 2nd link:

enter ‘Uilleann bagpipes’ in the search form and a ful description (alas, sans jpg) of the Mercer Taylor pipes should pop up.

Thanks Chas - are they on show and if so what tools are they - lathe, reamers, drills. Be interesting to know what they used compared with modern makers.

Wonder what happened to the Tools of Kenna, Egan and Coyne did they find their way into say the workshops of the Rowsome family for example
