I have actually 2 new Oak bodies both with broken mouthpieces. I would be willing to trade one one or both Oak bodies for a tweaked generation. I have never played one and would like too try it. Both Oak bodies come in origional package with the broken mouthpieces. I have no use for them or maybe another whistle I am looking for one that has a clean tone. I have a clark origional and a little black D tweaked and both sound slightly breathy. Anyways I thought I would throw this out there since I have no use for them.

Generation-type whistles (including Oak, Little Black, Feadog, etc.) all tend to be a little breathy. You might like the Susato VSB. (The Dublin model is cheap.) It has a different tone from the Gens, which some folks don’t like, but it’s not at all breathy, and it’s very easy to play.
I just got a Susato VSB last week. I’m a beginner, so how much my opinion counts I don’t know! But in any case, I really like it. As of today it’s my favorite whistle. Plays easily all the way up through the second octave, has a good amount of volume without being piercingly loud, and has a very pure tone.
