A local TV news report mentioned a freeware program called “Mail Washer.” It’s pretty cool. It previews your email before downloading it. You can bounce the email back to the source, indicating that your email address is invalid. It also claims to “zap” your addresss from mass email listings. I’ve been using it for a week so I thought I’d pass it along to everyone. It works. To check email, I open the Mail Washer program and it dials up a connection and checks my ISP mail server. After screening and processing the emails, it opens my Outlook Express email program, sans the junk.
