In chat today we came up with the idea of choosing a tune to represent each US state. For example, Little Bag of Spuds (Idaho), Off to California (um, California), etc.
I don’t want to leave anyone out so let’s nominate tunes for provinces and countries too, or any other well-known national subdivision
“Out on the Ocean” for Hawaii. “Ye Banks and Braes” if it’s what it sounds like, Louisiana. “The River is Wide” for any state with the Mississippi flowing through… especially Mississippi.

Ow, come on now, “Off to California” is for New Jersey of course.

Blarney Pilgrim for our man in Washington…humm…
