New set

Have new set of Gallaghers on the way in the near future…can’t wait!!Is it going to be hell trying to get used to positioning etc etc. on a full set as opposed to the half set I have? I know it is going to take a long time to actually get used to playing regs etc. but is it going to feel like I have something completely alien strapped to me for ages? It’s just I have a great opportunity to play at a really cool venue in only 3 weeks time (in front of about 600 people) and I would love to be sure I will be able to do itin confidence. Any thoughts?

I’ve a suggestion. Give me your pipes!!

Lucky b*&?%ard!!

No give them to me!

OK you didn’t say any thing about giving your set away but if you do PJ probably already has a set and I have been hopelessly wanting a set for almost 2 years but I can’t afford one.

Congrats on the new set.

practice your ass off!!! congrats on the new pipes

Practice…oh Jesus!! Ihave a feeling I will only be unstrapping to take on water and sleep!!! The regulator obsession begins shortly

Gold Ring,

Excellent news! Take the time to learn to tune them. Benedict Koehler gave us an excellent tuning lecture at the Chris Langan weekend.

On getting used to them, I got mine about one month ago and can easily reach them all. For me, what helped a lot was:
a) Site upright with good posture,
b) Relax,
c) Move your right leg out to move the bottom regs closer to your hand,
d) Play a song with one row down.

Good luck! You have reason to be excited. When you have all the pipes tuned reasonable and use the regulators, it really is magical.

Virgil

congratulations!
