Hugh has been teaching me whistle for three years now and is a diamond geezer as well as one of Scotland’s best players. This album gives a really good flavour of Scottish whistle and some nicely composed pieces.
No - the style is contemporary Scottish with some good tunes. The video link on the site to a gig they played in Inverness is pretty good (about 30 mins worth) too although I think the mic for Hugh’s whistle playing could have been a bit elevated in volume. Well worth a tenner!
