New Player Recommendations

Hi Folks,
as a newcomer, these recommendations may be of help to others similar to myself, ie strapped for cash and suffering from Whoa. Tony Dixon whistles are excellent value for money. I’ve got a tuneable A, can’t fault it, and a 1p Low D, very low air requirement, should’ve got the 2p though. At the moment I’m waiting for a Low D flightcase and a practice flute. Tony is an absolute gentleman, it’s a pleasure to do buisness with him. Also Phil Brown at http://www.bigwhistle.co.uk. The standard of service from Phil is second to none, He’s got whistles, tutors etc for me that he did’nt have in stock and He’s always happy to advise. Anyone looking for an Overton, try Phil first. For an alternative to Itrad on whistle try Phil’s CD’s. Whistling for the Moon was my first whistle CD.

Cheers Mac.

Try this link if the one above does not.

Cerrabus, thanks for the correction, I take it you’ve been then.

Cheers, Mac.

Da!

MacEachain,
Are you located anywhere near Templepatrick?

Aye, Cloughmills, its about 20/25 miles. What makes you ask? By the way, is this what’s meant by OT

Cheers Mac

Nah, this is conversational evolution.

OT for me means time-and-a-half. Too bad you don’t live in Bushmills instead of Cloughmills. The reason I asked is because whenever I’m back home I spend a lot of time in Templepatrick and also in Kellswater.
