Got my blackwood rover last night and played it with some with friends. We were recording in our church sanctuary to hear our balance in anticipation of this weekend’s services. I was surprised how good I sounded (IMHO) on the recording. I bow down in respect to Mr. O’Brien. 
I won’t venture to do a review. You guys are way more technical than I can digest most times. All I can say is, it looks cool (actually quite beautiful), it’s functional, it sounds great, and it feels good in my hands. I had a hard time putting it down. For the price, I don’t think it can be beat, especially with the current exchange rates US/CAN.
David is easy to work with and was able to fit my whistle into his schedule to meet my deadline of the upcoming performance.
I am one happy whistler!
