I’ve never heard anything bad about Neil’s pipes, but I just wish he would do some fancier turnings, they are just so blah.

I have recently heard a 1/2 set of his, and I liked the tone. But I agree, they could be a little fancier in appearence…not that looks are everything. :smiley:

One of our locals has a half set by neil, an it is indeed pretty boring to look at (hate to admit). Kinda looke like he stuck a marshmallow on the end of the chanter. :blush:

BUT, I must admit, his drones sound great! Superb tone, and highly stable.
