Hope to see many of you there.

Mike Reagan

You do webpages? I hope they look good!

I already put the date in my PDA, so now it’s etched in stone. No, make that electrons…

Aw, for pete’s sake! That’s the day I’m running SummerTunes in Frederick, MD. We rehearse dance sets and then play for the contra dance that night. I’m the organizer and I can’t skip out.

I’m proud to say it’s our 9th edition of the event. I’m a little surprised the interest has been maintained so long.

I think I can make that. I will have to double check though.

Just checked I am free now all I have to do is convince my parents to drive me.

Bumpity Bump

Whistler on the stump!

Where are you coming from?

I live in NC but I will be in Vermont for the week prior to the gathering. . . if yer on the way. . .

I checked the map, it’s old and may be out of date, but New Jersey is still between NC and CT.

Now where in Vermont are you headed? If you can go by way of I-91, you’ll pass just 10 minutes from the Sweets place. I-91 goes up the east side of Vermont after going through CT and MA.

Sound doable?
Mike

Unseen112 check your PM

Doh. Sometimes the “location” info actually sez something worthwhile.

We’ll be in South Hero, ie in the middle of Lake Champlain.

But I don’t think I’ll be able to swing through NJ on my way - after the gathering the plan is to go to Portland, ME.

I f my parents won’t give me a ride (still pending) then maybe on of the PAers can? It is about a three hour drive so not too bad.

Well, I won’t be able to make it… got to study for exams!

Thanks for the offer, Paul, and maybe I’ll be able to take you up on it some other time.

Hmmm. I’ll be 3 hours away at 10am that day picking up a kid from camp near Scranton,PA. Crazy notion.

Mmmm…
Sure what’s three hours among friends?
Slan,
D.

Ummm…that would be six extra hours of driving.

Worth it, I would think.

Mike

Yeah! Since the gathering is on a Sat, you could crash somewhere nearby and then drive home the next day.
I’m not sure though-- Scranton may be more than 3 hr from Sweets.

I am three hours from the Sweets according to Mapquest so Scranton is probably at least 4.

It was Mapquest that estimated 3. Not that my personal history suggests I should put undue faith in Mapquest.

Damn Mapquest.
