Name That Tune (Beast Mode Xylophone)

I saw this video a couple of weeks ago, and still haven’t been able to figure out where I know the tune from.

Can anybody tell me the name of it before I start pulling out my hair from frustration? :stuck_out_tongue:

Hard to hear a melody in there*, but the basic harmony is a bit similar to the Pachelbel Canon in D.

  • Not that I’m criticizing, mind you. And I say that for my own protection. Because I’m afraid that little girl might show up at my house and beat the crap out of me.

I’ll agree that it starts out sounding a lot like Pachelbel Canon in D, but it changes at around the 33 second mark.
That’s the part that I’m sure I’ve heard before, but can’t remember where.

I think they just made the wee alteration to get around shelling out if ASCAP or BMI came knocking. :wink:

Beast mode, indeed. That was some demonically scary and aggressive mallets. BUT: it was also very charming to see how she played by ear, being present to the music and counting out, and the whole thing.
