Can you name this tune?

This is an interesting video that I found on YouTube! I really like the first tune with the fiddle and accordion player!

I am curious if anyone can recognize this tune?

Thanks!

Nate

There are also alot of other clips with irish music in them!!

While your at it, somebody please name the tune the boy does when he plays solo on his accordion. Those kids are awesome btw.

That boy doesn’t seem to be enjoying ;/

Trip,
There is a tradition in the British Isles, a geographic reference with no political implications, that only piano accordion players smile. In fact until you sign an agreement with the supplier that you will have a personal orthodontist and smile all the time whilst playing, you will be boxless. Melodeon, that is bisonoric button boxes such as the boy is playing, smiling will get your bellows slashed and your reeds unwaxed. Continental chromatic three, four and five row boxes have a more liberal outlook, however Morris Melodeon players like me have to possess a thousand year stare or you are only allowed in the practice room.

The look on the kid’s face was really creeping me out until I realized that he was probably reading music

Or maybe he was just bored because he had to reign the music in for the classroom! (…Oh to have started as a child).

Edited to say: Come to think of it, I did start out as a child. I just wasn’t playing music back then.
