My new milestone!

As of 5:36 EST, I am the mother of 4 teenagers. I’m not sure if I’ll survive it…

Here they are, as of this morning:

Darn I feel old :stuck_out_tongue:

What a beautiful crew!

Speaking of feeling old… My youngest turned 15 today!

They’re smiles cleverly distract a person from that mauve wall in the background. 'Bout time to paint again, dontcha think?

If they can stand that close together without killing each other, you’ve raised them well.

You better. Since you’ve got another batch to process after that.
I would look at the positives…a big one being that by the time many of your kids are old enough for learner’s permits there will always be a sibling over 21 who’s a licensed driver, so you don’t have to put in the practice miles yourself. This is a benefit, not to be underestimated.

Say… the ungodly hour of the morning matches here too! It as 5:20-something when our youngest arrived this morning too… er… that morning 15 years ago.

My compliments, a chara…I’m not even certain I’ll survive one!

Redwolf

yeah, yeah, yeah…don’t be dissin’ my mauve paint job (it’s actually more fuchsia, but why squabble over the particulars? ) . Seriously, it’s what the former owners of the house left for us, and the fuchsia living room is actually far more subdued than other parts of the house (as avanutria and MartinMilner can attest). We were going to repaint, but we’re now thinking we should just pretty much gut the place and redesign the inside. The layout is really wonky.

That was the best of about 10 shots, if you can believe that. They were worse than the little guys usually are :stuck_out_tongue:

Thank you! I’m actually quite partial to them myself

Well, happy birthday to the youngest of the Annie clan!! Must be something about 5am-ish on 5 Jan, huh? I can tell you I wasn’t happy to be running to the hospital at that ungodly hour…not to mention it was the coldest day we’d had all winter to that point

Yeah, but I figure if I get through this batch, the next batch will be easy…or at least I can hope!

Given my penchant for being an incredibly nervous driver when it’s just me driving, this thought actually has far more in the way of benefits than you know!

The first one here at Casa Izz is very quickly advancing to the “twenty something” crowd, and honestly, as trying as it could be at times, it’s gone by far too fast. In other words, you’ll do fine

A lovely young crowd. After the photos did you make them take down the Christmas tree?

Susan

My two are 27 and 29. :frowning:

You’re shirking your duties izz.

This pic seriously belongs in the cutie pie thread.

We didn’t even have time to get to any hospital, even if we’d needed to… Ice storm, and very fast progress from ‘Oh! to ARRGGHHH! to Ooooh!’ Dad didn’t even get a chance to get up the stairs and get the other two, and the midwife didn’t get here till about 20 minutes after … Dad was so proud.

That’s a good lookin’ bunch there Izz. You will survive.

Steve I’m up there with ya- my two are 30 and 31 (which will change to 31 and 32 in this year of 08).

Almost as good looking as their mother.

I like the wall. (Good old Fuchs. What a flower!)

They kids are pretty good too!

Yeah, well I’m tired of competing with your cuter than cute son, Wanderer! So I’ve started my OWN thread where I don’t have to

Thanks for the complement…I tend to think they’re pretty cute too (sometimes…when they’re not fighting and all that, HA!) :)Although they do look like their dad, rather than like me. Ah well…

Awwww…Walden, you are so sweet! You just made my day!

There are days that I like the wall better than the kids too  And ppfffftttt to you mutepointe! See? IB likes the colour of my wall!!

Nice looking crew, Izz. Must be all that peanut butter you feed them.
