Well we’re three weeks away from Milwaukee Irish Fest. Some of us got together last year for a bit and I got to meet some neat people and we all got to play some whistles (and flutes) we hadn’t played before.

Let’s do it again.

I propose we pick a time to meet on Saturday afternoon and from there maybe we will or maybe won’t decide to meet again later.

I’ll be bringing a bunch of whistles for people to try and will even have some I’m ready to let find a new home.

I hope someone or someones can bring Burke narrow bore Ds in brass, aluminum, and composite so I can try.

For those of you who didn’t make it last year, it was great to meet fellow C&Fer’s, and especially great to play with all of Jim’s whistles! His collection is impressive. I highly recommend y’all come and we take over Irish Fest!

I’m planning to come to the fest but I have a committment Saturday morning/early Sat. afternoon and I don’t know for sure what time I’ll be able to be there. So others pick a time and if I’m able, I’ll be there! If I’m not able to meet with y’all, maybe I’ll see you around the fest.
