Denny’s secret weapon is the APOD. Okay, maybe it’s not so secret. Have you done an internetwebish search for “Picture of the day”? Lots of newspapers have one. National Geographic has one. So does the BBC, and Wiki, and Zuma, Kodak, New Scientist…
There is even an OLD picture of the day. I think that is an old-style picture, one per day. Presumably by the time they use up all the old pictures and only have pictures from 2010 and later, it will be at least 2011 and they’ll be able to keep going.
Apparently there is even a joke of the day, although I’m not sure that’s the best way to go.
The ball is in your court, fyffer! I’d go for National Geographic picture of the day, if’n it wuz me, even though I understand the pictures don’t have quite the attractive qualities that they did when I wor a lad.
