Michael Copeland?

Does anyone know how to reach Michael Copeland? His website says he’s closed for business until February 2008 and gives a Merchantville NJ address for letters but mine was returned as undeliverable.

…and if not…does anybody know anyone who can do minor repairs/tweaking/revoicing of a Copeland D whistle?

Thanks friends! Todd

Can it really be that nobody in this forum has any idea how or where to contact one of the most famous and accomplished whistle makers in the world?

I have not heard of anything more than his website states either. Whatever is going on with Mr. Copeland however, I know I speak for the entire C and F communuty when I wish him the best of luck and fortune in whatever it is that he is trying to accomplish.

Mike’s business continues to be inactive and I’m hopeful he’ll resume making instruments at some point. I’m PMing some additional information.

Looks like the website is gone, too.

Yep. Seems like the ground has swallowed him up.

Yikes! :boggle: I sure hope not. He makes lovely instruments. Mine is marked #3976. Vintage late 2007. Anyone have a higher number ?

I have contacted Jim Rementer for years for anything
concerning Copeland whistles. Give it a try…

jimr@copelandwoodwinds.com

Yeah, but that domain is not there any more ( copelandwoodwinds.com )

KAC

They have the domain name “parked” at some provider’s site. I guess waiting to start it up again once they settle on what they will be doing. Maybe Jim will take it over entirely. I dunno.

I have one of his 2004 models. It needs a little TLC to be in top shape again.

..

Now that’s vintage rh ! I hope there’s many more to come.

FYI … As far as I know, Jim Rementer is no longer associated with Michael Copeland or his business.

Please stand by…

Legs getting tired. Permission to sit sir?

Anyone have updates or information on the Copeland business. Sorry if it seems nosy, but I’m a fan of the whistles.

Best, John

Yeah, me that too.

KAC

At ease, mister.

Jim Rementer emailed me and asked permission to post re: the status of Copeland Woodwinds. I said go ahead, please. I thought it was imminent.
