No April fooling but a maudlin May.
I had to make lots of apologies for overbooking April and some folks graciously let me postpone till May. That caused May to fill up too fast, so now my answer is-- no more for May.
But wait, there’s more: I won’t be taking any orders for June. Making whistles has put other important projects on hold too long so June will be a whistle hiatus and a catch-up-on-my-other-life month.
Please accept my apologies and honor my request to hold any whistle requests till July. I will still be making whistles (because it’s in the blood), but only on a catch up and gift basis.
My shop will still be open, but adapted back to woodworking. My son’s wedding present is seven years deliquent and my daughters Christmas present six months. There is a daily growing list of home projects and a yard of ever increasing weediness. I think painting can be put off another year. But now I’m rambling…
The whistle shop will still be open to visitors with the promised free whistle, and Joan has graciously offered hospitality if you “just happen” to be here at mealtime.
None of the above activities (excepts Joan’s cooking) will stand in the way of playing whistles and making music with my friends! Y’all come, now y’hear?!
Just no orders till July!
