Low D and F# jumping to the second octave like crazy.

Has anyone ever had this problem?

I’ve tried opening and closing the reed but
it didn’t do the trick.

Short answer - Ease off the bag pressure !

Thanks, but that’s the first thing I did - When I ease on the pressure the D doesn’t sound at all.

Maybe the lips are too close together. Try opening the reed a tiny bit.

Thanks. I’ve made contact with my maker, this could be due
to climate changing the chanter’s wood, or keys leaking (which doesn’t seem reasonable).
