I am planning on buying a low C whistle sometime this month. Does anyone have any suggestions on what would be the best one? I have a cheap low D but want a better one and decided on C because I have been asked to play in a band and C is the easiest key to work with. I want one that has that really nice haunting breathy sound like you hear on Celtic Woman, Riverdance, etc… Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I have an OS Chieftain low C that is great.
I’ve got a Reviol Low C and a Burke Low C (aluminum). Both are very nice.
