Hi All,
I’ve been considering getting a set of pipes for a few months now and was wondering if anyone had any experience of Alan Logan as Uillean Pipe maker. Any advice welcome.
Thanks, Mac

Thank’s Unregulated,
I was starting to think my post was invisible to everyone other than myself (in jest). About the mail adresses, do I just contact them out of the blue and ask for an opinion? Do you find that people are reluctant to criticize Pipe maker’s (Pakistani pipes being the exception) on forums or is that just my perception?
Appreciate your help, Cheer’s Mac
You will find most people reluctant to criticize pipe-makers in a public forum. Which in some ways is fair (since they usualy cannot respond, it’s a single opinion and without proof), but in some ways simply makes it harder to find information out about a pipe maker you’re considering.
People are not, however, reluctant to criticize pipe-makers in private. As long as you keep it private.

Better to keep silent and be thought a fool ,than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. When in rome , do like the romans , or leave rome .

Hi Folks,
thanks to all who replied. I can see that there are to many variable’s where pipes are concerned for everyone who ever got a set to start giving opinions. If anyone who feel’s qualified would like to offer any advice off the forum and off the record, contact me at R_MAC850@hotmail.com
Note that there should be an underscore between the R and M in the mail adress. It does’nt show on the forum.
Cheers, Mac
