A couple of friends of mine were planning a trip to Ireland. I contacted my cousin in Dublin to let her know they would be in the area, what dates, etc, gave my friends her phone number and even suggested they email each other. My friends are big on Irish music. I just got this email from my cousin:
“Anthony, I had big plans for your friends but they never called. I was at a 21st birthday that had all Irish musicians on the Saturday night, Sunday I was taking them to a place where musicians meet and play their music and Monday night was a special night at my club. We had a mass a supper and then a great big ceile. Maybe they were too tired to go out after their day.”
