Cran thought so too, for a while. Lately he seems to have identified pretty positively as a gay man.

I think Cran should just be identified as an ā€œinteresting personā€. His initial avatar looked pretty effeminate, but it was clear pretty much up front that he was having identity problems with it. Hey, what say we just say ā€œitā€™s Cranberry!ā€ and leave it at that. I think Cranā€™s pretty cool, no matter what his sexual proclivities.

Be all that as it may. On this board full of characters Cranberry stands out. Heā€™s one of the few people that most of us will immediately notice when missing. Last time, as I recall, we had some warnings and clues, then later more detail than many cared to hear. This time nothing that I noticed. Iā€™ve never met Cran, but Iā€™m seriously concerned about his well being.

Heā€™s on my (prayer) list. So OK, Heā€™s on several of my lists.

I hate to be a stick in the mud (and hate even more to bump this thread up)ā€¦but does it strike anyone else as terrifically inappropriate to have a thread about someone that isnā€™t around?

I think itā€™s innapropriate, but it has happened before, with the same person. I came to understand that the group here feels responsible for Cranberry, and Cranberry has reciprocated by telling the group many of his problems in great detail. I think caring for one another is a good thing, and one you donā€™t see much these days.

Anyway, maybe the best would be for someone to contact him by phone or mail and make sure heā€™s ok, instead of letting this thread grow fat with speculation.

I wanted to post and bump this back up to the top of the list.

Not having Cran around is a serious issue :confused:

He is one of my favorites and makes this board a fun place to visit. Help us make this the behemuth ā€˜whereā€™s Cranā€™ thread so when he returns he will see just how much he has been missed. :slight_smile:

I thought I remembered reading that Cranberry was leaving for somewhere. Maybe this thread will jog someoneā€™s memory.
