I think Galuber’s point about not filling the thread with speculation and extremely personal detail about Cran are right on the money as is his advice to try to contact cranberry by more private means (he does have a PM account).
Celtoid’s comment is also great. I think it’s fine to miss someone in the whistle family and to have a thread sayng how much we miss him, what a fine fellow he is etc… but I don’t think it will help him (or the board) to explore, and wring our collective hands publically, about extremely personal issues.
That said:

Incidently, I think if you are really serious about your whistle commitment you should change your handle to “Crannberry”.
I’m flattered that I’m missed. I seriously had no idea there would even be such a thread. I’ve had some really unexpected, life-changing events which have left me shaken up in the last couple weeks but I don’t really want to talk about it, so the computer hasn’t been a priority.
I haven’t moved yet and am not sure if I will be able to now.
It’s all made me want to join church but I can’t find one that likes me right now so I don’t know.
FWIW, I don’t mind being thought of or called a guy or a girl, I’ve been all over the map in my own mind. It honestly doesn’t matter to me one way or the other.
