Jerome Palac'hig

Hi,

Just sharing. And asking. While surfing the internet for flute players who play in the simple “East Galway” style (think Mike Rafferty), I stumbled across what’s quickly become my current favorite: Jerome Palac’hig’s “Maudy’s Hut”, available from CD Baby here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/jeromepalachig. I’m no expert; I just know I love this style of playing. But I can find nothing more about Jerome. Anyone know about him?

John

Its also available in MP3 download from Amazon,: http://www.amazon.com/Maudys-Hut/dp/B0057UWSYY/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1326333084&sr=1-1

Gorgeous. Like hearing tunes for the first time.

The sample clips sound terrific…

Very nice indeed from the samples on amazon.

OK, so I’m old school… Anyone know of a source for a CD (as opposed to MP3)?

Best wishes.

Steve

I think that the OP put in about CD baby. I got CD(s) in the past from them. Also, amazon has CD as well as MP3 downloads.

Hope this helps.

It looks like both Amazon and CD Baby offer only the MP3 downloadable versions. Perhaps I’m missing something?

Best wishes.

Steve

Wow. I would have thought the CD Baby would have in CD format. I am surprised at that. I guess that it is getting harder and harder to get CD(s) these days.

Well, the name Download Baby just never caught on…

Best wishes.

Steve

Nice album but I find the backing is too loud for me on most tracks
