Hi folks,

We’re organizing a get-together in down-town Montreal on November 2, to mark International Uilleann Piping Day. Here are some details (PM me for more information) :

Date : 2 November 2019
Venue : Schulich School of Music, room C-310, 555 Sherbrooke West, Montréal (same building as last year, but a different room)
Times : 11.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
(Optional pre-meeting at 11.00 in Java U café, across the street from the Schulich School)

Draft program:

  1. Welcome/set-up room (15 minutes)
  2. Maintenance/reed adjustment/tuning (30 minutes)
  3. Discussion of technique - “Phrasing a tune” (30 minutes)
  4. Session (90 minutes)
  5. Conclusion/tidy-up (15 minutes)
