Any suggestions for good ITM podcasts, ideally with some focus on uilleann piping? RTE radio used to have some good shows like the Rolling Wave, but I don’t think that they can include music in the podcasts for copyright reasons. Any suggestions welcome.
The Rolling Wave is still archived isn’t it?
Rolling wave archives
And episodes from the current year
Ditto for Ceili house
All RTE podcasts are listed here
The Sunday morning archive show has occasionally very good stuff. And There’s Clare fm. And RnaG..
Can’t think of specific piping stuff.

Jeremy’s podcast is more historic tunes in the bagpiping repertoire, very interesting and I love how he digs into different versions of the same tunes.
Blarney Pilgrims are on a hiatus but you’ll find a wealth of piping interviews through the archives.
Fire Draw Near is brilliant and seeks out the wider recesses of the tradition. They have piping on there too, occasionally. Worth a subscription.
Not exactly a podcast:

Thanks JR!
I second the Fire Draw Near plug too. It is very much the show I wish I could make, I was too afraid of copyright claims to go all hog wild with playing other peoples’ recordings. Lovely stuff.
This received a rather gushing review in the Irish Times today. I haven’t listened yet.
