Irish language, instruction and studies

To anybody with an interest in the Irish language, try this, including some very useful links at the bottom of the page.

Apparently Irish language instruction and studies are available, and much is for free, but in some cases there is a price.

For instance, it’s one thing that an Irish tune could have more than one name, but how does one pronounce them, if not in English?!?

Edit: Thank you for reminding me, Redwolf, as perhaps in the not so distant future the C&F board, as we now know it, might not support HTML in individual posts, and so let me name the above source: http://www.omniglot.com/writing/irish.htm . Also, as a generally useful, foreign language resource, at large: http://www.omniglot.com/ , which often includes some very useful links.

For those who are interested in Irish language resources, there are reviews of many of the most commonly available here:

We also have reviews of some of the most commonly available Irish dictionaries:

Or, if you’re really gung-ho, you can always do what I’m going to do this summer!
