Yeah, but the fact that he died and made us sad for a little while isn’t really the thing that stand out about 'Bug.
He taught us so much, and he helped make our lives wonderful. He was a good friend.
That he lived and taught us so much is vastly more important than the fact that he fell sick and died.
But it is sad, of course. The other four ferrets keep nosing around their room and cage, like they are looking for him. Of course, he’s not there to be found, but that doesn’t stop them looking.
