Immigrant try #1001 lol

So this penny whistle is quickly becoming my favorite. It gets more attention than my native american flutes lately lol! I am simply captivated by the idea that such a low-cost instrument can make such wonderful sounds. It truly is a gift of music. I can see myself practicing this song over and over and over again and hopefully i get it right some day. It really moves my spirit and makes me smile.

I’ve given some thought to the wonderfully helpful people in my last post. I try playing the mic a bit and I try to keep it to a certain tempo and blow a little less harder, but I am still only improvising a bit because I don’t know the entire song.

This simple penny whistle for me is nearly equal to the excitement I had when I first started to play the native american flute. I hope to some day make beautiful music with it.

and also i’ve been playing around with a midi program for the native american flute. I think it will help me alot for the irish whistle too, if I could only know what notes are for the penny whistle in a midi sound. Though, i probably really should just learn how to read music haha.
