I'm dripping less...

It’s been nearly three months since picking up the flute. Early on, (when I could finally play longer than five minutes at a time), I just about had to stand over the kitchen waste can, as I seemed to drip profusely.

I just played for over an hour, and there was almost no drippage. Do you blow more air and less moisture after the embouchure tightens up?

On the one hand, let me congradulate you on your success, as it seems you have gained better control of your flute. Using less air (which contains future moisture) is a sure sign of progress, that you are becoming more efficient in your airstream, that you have better focus.

On the other hand, however, a player can expect some condensate drainage, as normal.
