A friend and I were comparing our loved ones to foods. She said her mom was a stew, comforting, and combining everything she needed in one pot.
We talked about what kind of food we’d look for in a partner. Something nourishing, satisfying, wholesome. Then she said, “But right now I’m dating a jalapeño popper!”

I’d be a lumpia ; a filipino spring roll- filled with shreded carrots, cabbage, onions, bean sprouts and chicken or pork. But it can be a veggie thing as well.
