Is this the slide whistle Melody Pop, or the one with finger holes?
Slide whistle - sorry to hear you think that is as in-tune as my normal playing! ![]()
They have a candy whistle with fingerholes? I didn’t know that.

Seems like they marketed them for a while, but it probably didn’t last. It was impractical.
That was great! ![]()

One, at a session, I took out my nose flute…
How far did you get before someone threw a tipper at you? ![]()
Thankfully, this was a “Strictly No Bodhrans” session.
Too bad they allowed chairs.

That was hilarious! ![]()
I sent the file home to Barb. She’ll love it since she used to sell those at Dunkley’s all the time. You ought to take one to Salt Lake! ![]()
You guys should hear Tom play beathoven on one of those
Well done!
I don’t know how you ever got it recorded without:
(a) giggling / cracking up, or
(b) your instrument melting!
Very nicely done. You might even say, tastefully played! ![]()

Ah, well you didn’t hear the versions that were of lesser quality, including one where I tried to get the bell note and instead pulled the slide out of the whistle!
Oh yeah…and unclogging the windway wasn’t unpleasant at all! ![]()

It’s amazing that you could achieve such accurate notes! My kids love those little whistles, but the music store doesn’t carry them anymore (I don’t know why the ones I got them didn’t last
)
