I got 2 new Clips posted… Spancil Hill, and Amhran Na Leabhar

That was good!
It’s funny, I saw your pictures on the other thread and you look like one of those guys in the thumpity thump cars with the neon that are always driving through my neighborhood. If I saw you on the street I’d never beleive you could do that.
Aaron
I AM one of THOSE guys, well I blew up my amp, so until I replace it.. I WAS one of those GUYS. BUt my Exhaust will still rattle your teeth and I go 100 mph around 25mph turns because I tuned my suspension and tires so it can do that sort of stuff. Chevy Beretta GTZ second best Suspension GM ever Produced, FE7 right up there with the Corvette. DOn’t let that full ya though, I DO know how to USE a wrench. Unlike most of those Ricers out there, who buy their performance parts at wal-mart.

I knew it. ![]()
The Black Irish Band does a wonderful version of Spancil Hill, if you ever get a chance to hear them.
Dave
I have two version of spancil hill. One is Instrumental with piano and whistles and stuff. And the other version is Two irish dudes singing their versions of spancil hill live, with a guitar, there isn’t a whistle until the very end. It was actually esier to learn the right rythm for the song listeneing to the two guys sing, than it was listening to the instrumental.

The Dubliners do my favorite version of Spancil Hill, and there’s a whistle played throughout most of it.
Your version with “two Irish dudes” is almost certainly the strange duet between Christy Moore and Shane MacGowan.
That’s exactly who the two Guys are. I tried d/l-ing the Dubliners version, but my fiance only has Kazaa, and it kept saying “More Sources Needed”

It’ll have to wait until I get my DSL back online at my house. My fiance has Dinky hard drives and doesn’t want me downloading “extra crap” onto her computer.
