ifor a while now, i have been trying to see what time zone my GMT is. i finally found out that is was -4. 
that is for florida. i dont know the other ones.
Yep… -4 is what I’m set at too. But, then you have this:

In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pocket diary without one. Don’t you have pocket diaries in the U.S.?
If you are EST (well, EDT right now), then you are -5. We were -4 for 2 weeks after we had sprung ahead, and they hadn’t in the UK yet. But now that they have, we’re back to being -5.
Why haven’t they designed the forum software to allow the user to simply select a time zone (e.g., Eastern, Central, Mountain, etc.) or country (if the country has only one time zone), then have the software figure out the delta from GMT? My laptop does it. Why can’t a forum do it?
