I just received my copy of Humours of Planxty (yes, through MusicScotland). It has lots of stuff on pre-Planxty days for each of them, how they met, where they grew up, their individual histories, favourite colours, first great love affairs, a lock of hair, the whole bit. Now, if I could just get autographs … :heart:

I got this one a couple of years back and it is a great read. It has good yarns from the early days of the Irish and English folk/trad music scene. Some great Andy Irvine memoires in particular. It also covers the Irish personalities of the blues and rock scenes of the 70’s (Rory Gallagher, Henry McCullough etc.).
