I have a charles roberts half set I picked up on e bay last year . It had two non piping previous owners . The chanter wants to play LOUAD lol but I got it tamed down to the point where I hear some good applause at the local sessune . not to tot me own horn here lo l , The drones are loud too , but , so is the session . 
When I turn on the drones , the floorboards give up the dust , and the fiddeler has to rerosin the bow . .
