I hire a hughes and macleod practice set and am trying to locate drones as the guy who hires them to me sold the drones. 
Could anyone give me a list of places to keep an eye out or even better tell me where i could get them??

Why not go straight to the source? I am told that Robbie Hughes is not making regs any more, but you should still be able to get a stock and drones.

I used to play that very chanter [about 3 years ago]. It has a nice tone to it [with an Alan Burton reed, of course]

Just spoke to Robbie Hughes and he’s just offically confirmed that he’s still making regulators for pipes.
(I was a tad concerned about this rumour as he’s making the regulators for my pipes as we speak!)
In view of recent sensitivities:
- Robbie is not in the least bit concerned about any rumour on any internet
- I’m sure the original post was in good faith
And I’m looking forward to getting more toys to play with…

Glad to hear it. The guy I heard it from acts as a sales agent for Robbie out of Toronto, so I accepted what he said at face value. Guess I should have gone to the source, too, but I no longer have a Hughes set, so it wasn’t a high priority for me.
