I have no commercial interest in Glenn Watson’s flutes. I think they’re great – large-hole Rudall design. They are priced about the same as Sam Murray’s, play easily, are in perfect tune and sound wonderful. The wait time is climbing but is still reasonable.
He’s a single guy devoted to making good flutes. I have a six-key blackwood that I like very much. I think his prices are about 10% higher now than those listed on his site. Still very reasonable, even considering the exchange rate. His flutes are not well known – but they will be in time to come.

I posted about Glenn Watson flutes some weeks ago. I have a 6 keyed blackwood and all I can say is marvellous about the flutes he makes. My Watson flute it´s simply amazing. I visited Glenn several times while I was living in Galway and this guy is really wonderful to deal.
His flutes are really light with a powerfull and rich tone, pure art work.
